What is the 6 Petal Diet?

The 6 Petal Diet has a nice name that unwitting people associate with flowers. Each chamomile petal, in fact, is a day of a specific mono diet, that is, we mean the use of only one specific type of product.

Thanks to this nutritional system you can lose weight quickly and easily. It turns out that 500g per day is eliminated and the results in 2 cycles will be astounding: around 7 kilograms.

The essence of the diet

The 6 Petal Diet was created by Anna Johansson. He is a renowned Swedish nutritionist. Dietetic Association approved slimming food system. Studies have been conducted that have shown that people have lost 500 grams per day and sometimes up to 800 grams. At the same time, their overall health remained good.

At the end, further medical examinations of the volunteers were carried out. The results showed that the health of the program participants improved. In other words, the 6-petal diet not only helps you lose weight, but also strengthens your body.

The duration of such a course is 6 days (hence the name of the diet). The main principle is separate feeding, thanks to which the slimming effect is achieved. For 6 days, you need to adhere to several single diets, one per day. The sequence should not be interrupted, as it is an alternation of days of carbohydrates and proteins.

Within a day you will have to eat foods that belong to the same food category. The order is as follows:

  1. Fish day.
  2. Vegetable day.
  3. Chicken day.
  4. Grain day.
  5. Day of the curd.
  6. Fruit day.

To avoid consuming more calories than necessary, you should measure your food portions each day:

  • fish - no more than 500 grams;
  • vegetables - up to 1. 5 kg;
  • meat - up to 500 grams;
  • cereals - up to 200 g;
  • cottage cheese - up to 500 grams;
  • fruits and berries - up to 1, 5 kg.

Anna Johansson recommended making a flower with 6 petals to write mono diets on to maintain motivation. Hence the name associated with the plant appeared, although in reality no flowers and herbs are used. You can hang such a homemade chamomile in a conspicuous place and look at it whenever there is a high probability of breakdown. Plucking one petal every day makes hunger strike much easier.
